On 24 October 2025, the 2^nd Polish warm-up event of the INSPIRE project took place in Parczew, Poland building on the first audience engagement during the local festival in September 2025. More than 30 women from across Parczew County joined an interactive workshop dedicated to rural social inclusion, employment, and community engagement.

The event featured four thematic presentations:

1. “INSPIRE – Introduction to the Project and Smart Village Labs”

2. “Rural Tourism as a Career Opportunity”

3. “Future of the Labour Market and Remote Work Skills”

4. “How to Create and Run an Association”

The workshop encouraged open dialogue, and participants actively asked questions during and after the presentations. The team aimed for an inclusive format, fostering a safe space for discussion of real-life challenges faced by rural women, such as access to employment, balancing care duties, and starting local initiatives.

A key moment of the event was the award ceremony for the local photo contest “The Village Through a Woman’s Eyes”, which highlighted the creativity and perspectives of rural women and was positively received both offline and online.

Many participants expressed interest in joining future activities of the Smart Village Lab. The event raised awareness and helped identify potential grassroots leaders who may support future Smart Village Lab initiatives in Parczew.
