The Moate Hub exists to bring people together in a welcoming community space where skills, advice, activities, and resources are shared, barriers to participation are reduced, and everyone is supported to engage equally in community life. The Hub exists to:

• Bring people in Moate together in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space, regardless of age, background, ability, language, or circumstances.

• Reduce barriers to participation, especially for people experiencing social exclusion due to transport issues, language barriers, health conditions, caring responsibilities, unemployment, or cultural barriers.

• Encourage sharing and mutual support, where community members both give and receive support, skills, knowledge, and experience.
