On 19 June 2026, the Social Impact Hub, supported by PEDAL, organised its 3^rd Capacity-Building / User-Innovation Workshop as part of the INSPIRE project. The workshop took place at the Nezábudka Youth Library in Košice and focused on introducing participants to the INSPIRE Learning Platform and MOOCs courses.

The workshop brought together young people with disabilities, researchers, a social worker, a family representative and other local stakeholders to explore how the INSPIRE learning resources can support the implementation of the priority solutions identified during the previous workshops.

Participants were introduced to the main features of the INSPIRE Learning Platform, including account creation, navigation, language settings, enrolment in courses and progress tracking. Particular attention was given to the two Slovak-language modules that were selected as the most relevant for the needs of our target group at the Košice pilot area focusing on: Using Assistive Technology to Promote Rural Social Inclusion of People with Disabilities and Leveraging AI Technologies for Social Services Accessibility.

During the workshop, participants explored the platform (soon to be available on the project website), tested its functionalities and discussed how the learning modules could contribute to future activities of the Social Impact Hub. The discussion highlighted the relevance of both topics for improving accessibility, independence and digital inclusion of young people with disabilities, while also identifying opportunities to further strengthen the practical orientation of the learning materials.

The workshop provided valuable user feedback on the accessibility, usability and practical relevance of the platform and MOOCs. Participants appreciated the availability of Slovak-language modules and welcomed the opportunity to contribute their perspectives as end users. Their recommendations will help inform future improvements of the learning resources and support their wider uptake within local communities.

The workshop concluded with an open reflection session, during which participants discussed how the INSPIRE MOOCs could be integrated into future local training activities and how guided learning approaches could further increase their impact for the target group.

The Social Impact Hub will continue building on these outcomes in the next phase of the project, supporting the implementation of its selected solutions and strengthening digital and social inclusion within the region.
