On 29 May 2026, the Social Impact Hub, supported by PEDAL, held its 2^nd Capacity-Building / User-Innovation Workshop at Kulturpark in Košice. The workshop brought together young people with disabilities, researchers, students, and other stakeholders to further develop ideas generated during previous Smart Village Lab meetings.

The workshop began with a review of the outcomes from the 1^st Workshop and a presentation of the most promising solution proposals identified by participants. The main objective of the workshop was to transform these ideas into practical implementation roadmaps. Through a collaborative working session, participants jointly developed deployment plans, identifying implementation steps, key stakeholders, required resources, and potential partnerships needed to bring the proposed solutions into practice.

The discussion focused on themes that had emerged as priorities within the Social Impact Hub community, including employment inclusion, mobility and accessibility, socialisation and leisure opportunities, and the use of innovative technologies to support job seeking and workplace participation.

Working together, participants defined concrete next steps and implementation priorities adapted to the local context of Košice. The workshop demonstrated the value of co-creation by enabling young people with disabilities to actively shape solutions that respond to their own needs and experiences.
