INSPIRE to Host Clustering Event on Rural Social Inclusion at ERDN Conference,

The Horizon Europe project INSPIRE is pleased to announce its upcoming Clustering Event: “Building Synergies for Rural Social Inclusion”, taking place on 26 September 2025, from 09:00 to 10:30 CET, in a hybrid format (onsite in Bucharest, Romania and online).

 

Organised as part of the 21^st European Rural Development Network (ERDN) Conference, the session will bring together representatives of Horizon Europe and other EU-funded initiatives working on themes such as:

• Rural social inclusion

• Digital and inclusive service provision

• Smart Villages

• Social economy and innovation

• Sustainable territorial development

• Objectives of the Clustering Event

 

The session aims to:

• Identify shared goals and thematic priorities, including access to services, social entrepreneurship, and Smart Villages.

• Facilitate knowledge exchange through tools, methods, and pilot results.

• Align project activities and timelines to encourage joint initiatives and coordinated policy contributions.

• Strengthen networks and partnerships among EU projects, public authorities, researchers, civil society organisations, and local actors.

• Enhance policy impact by formulating joint recommendations for EU and national frameworks such as CAP and Cohesion Policy.

• Looking Ahead

 

The event will also explore future joint actions, including pilot initiatives across rural regions, shared communication tools, joint policy briefs, and a possible Memorandum of Understanding to foster long-term collaboration.
