Two new Smart Village Labs have been established in Konitsa and Kythera, Greece, within the INSPIRE project, bringing together local communities to co-create solutions tailored to their needs.

In Konitsa, a Lab empowering women: “BRIDGE TO TOMORROW – Women of Konitsa” focuses on women’s empowerment, creating a supportive space for skills development, creativity, and collaboration. The initiative contributes to reinforcing the role of women in the social and economic life of the area, while also highlighting local assets, resources and opportunities.

In Kythera, a collective action for the revitalisation of the agricultural sector: “KYTHERIAN LAND – Our Land, Our Food” focuses on strengthening and revitalising the agricultural sector. It brings together producers, agricultural cooperatives, agronomists, active citizens and local stakeholders, to promote sustainable practices, strengthen cooperation, and improve the visibility and value of local products.
