Synergies

The ESIRA project is established with the aim of reducing the risk of poverty and social exclusion for marginalized groups in rural communities. Through innovative economic practices, the creation of strong social networks, and the enhancement of participatory policies, ESIRA seeks to ensure inclusive development of rural communities, with an emphasis on economic sustainability and the protection of cultural heritage.

R-Map is a three-year project funded by the European Union and brings together 12 dedicated partners from across Europe. R-Map stands for ”Mapping, understanding, assessing and predicting the effects of remote working arrangements (RWAs) in urban and rural areas” and its mission is to comprehensively study and address the urban-rural gap influenced by remote work. R-Map’s approach includes cross-regional dialogues and policy roundtables to ensure that the findings and recommendations are applicable across diverse regions in Europe and beyond. By understanding and shaping the trends related to remote work, R-Map aims to create environments suitable for both urban and rural settings.

SPACE-NEST aims to recover and improve abandoned rural spaces, as well as transform existing underused ones, to strengthen the role of social enterprises in building the resilience of European rural communities.

SERIGO is conducting community-based research, fostering collaborations, and providing policy recommendations on how social innovation can enhance rural communities. The project is exploring innovative solutions initiated by or involving actors from the Social Economy. With a focused approach to addressing the challenges faced by rural communities, SERIGO is committed to harnessing the capabilities of social economy actors to drive inclusive development initiatives

SMART ERA fosters resilience in rural areas by upgrading, co-designing, co-developing and co-validating a set of smart solutions with local communities. These solutions are integrated within Smart Innovation Packages (SIPs) and are able to tackle pressing socio-economic and environmental challenges, as well as promoting a community-led transition pathway.

CREASSE is a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, aimed at driving the transformation of rural communities through the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). Its mission is clear: to create and strengthen collective initiatives that generate real opportunities, reduce inequalities, and enhance the employability of unemployed individuals and/or those with entrepreneurial aspirations. With a presence in Spain, Italy, Hungary, Cyprus, and Albania, CREASSE embraces an innovative methodology based on project-based learning and dialogue among all SSE stakeholders. It fosters a collaborative space where ideas emerge, knowledge is shared, and sustainable solutions for the future are built.
