On 27 May 2026, our partners SEERC, ERDN, White Research, the University of Barcelona, and ESN successfully organised the INSPIRE Policy Workshop, bringing together 42 participants from the INSPIRE Network of Interest (NoI), the project’s Advisory Board, industry, and sister projects for an engaging exchange on the future development of the INSPIRE Policy Dashboard.

Following presentations of the INSPIRE Typology and the ATLAS platform, participants joined four breakout groups to explore how the project’s tools, evidence, and methodologies can be brought together into a practical and user-friendly dashboard that supports evidence-informed policymaking and decision-making.

The discussions focused on:

🔹 How the INSPIRE Typology and ATLAS platform can be effectively integrated into a single, intuitive Policy Dashboard.
🔹 Strengthening the connection between evidence, policy challenges, and concrete policy actions.
🔹 Identifying additional features and functionalities that would make the Dashboard more useful and relevant for policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders.
🔹 Ensuring that the Dashboard reflects and incorporates the broader INSPIRE methodology and knowledge base.

The workshop generated a wealth of valuable insights, practical recommendations, and innovative ideas that will directly contribute to the next phase of the INSPIRE Policy Dashboard’s development.
